The JJ 12AX7 / ECC83S tubes are one of the most popular new production 12AX7s ever made. There is a reason major brands such as Fender and Marshall come with them as stock tubes. At a lower price point, they are excellent quality tubes for audio and especially guitar. JJ’s 12AX7 looks different than their counterparts, due to JJ redesigning them until they got them just right. Due to this, their new plate construction makes them especially low noise on top of plenty of gain.
